Overview
CE Collective LLC is seeking reliable and detail-oriented independent contractors to clean and document rental vehicles. This role involves cleaning vehicles before and after trips, taking pre- and post-trip photos, handling key management, and ensuring vehicles meet rental standards. Contractors must adhere to the outlined procedures while maintaining flexibility in scheduling their tasks.
“This contract is for an independent contractor available to complete vehicle cleaning and check-in services on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Contractors may choose when to perform the work each day, as long as all tasks are completed before 1:00 PM.”
Responsibilities
-Clean vehicles inside and out before and after each rental.
-Take clear, comprehensive pre- and post-trip photos for documentation.
-Ensure all keys are placed in RFID Faraday bags and secured in designated lockboxes.
-Follow contactless check-in and check-out procedures for each vehicle.
-Share all vehicle photos through the designated messaging platform for verification.
-Identify and report any damages, smoking evidence, or missing items to the host immediately.
-Monitor vehicle maintenance needs by tracking mileage and referencing oil change stickers.
-Schedule or notify the host of necessary maintenance if the vehicle is overdue or showing dashboard alerts.
-Use ozone machines to remove smoke or marijuana odors when detected.
-Ensure all vehicles are parked in the designated lot and in ready-to-rent condition.
-Handle lost-and-found items per host instructions.
Requirements
-Must have reliable transportation to and from the vehicle lot.
-Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
-Attention to detail in both cleaning and documentation.
-Ability to operate lockboxes and follow security protocols.
-Must have a smartphone with a camera for documentation and communication.
-Must be able to lift and move cleaning equipment.
-Experience in car detailing or vehicle maintenance is a plus but not required.
-This role involves occasional vehicle transportation. To be eligible, contractors must have a valid driver's license and a driving record free of major violations.
-Due to the nature of the work, preference will be given to contractors who can reliably report to [location] within X minutes.
Compensation
Company agrees to pay Contractor as follows:
-Base Pay: $1250/per month (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed). $950/per month (Thur, Fri, Sat)
Incentives: Contractor may earn additional pay as follows:
-$150 monthly completion incentive for fulfilling 100% of assigned turnarounds.
-$50 for each approved smoking/cleaning reimbursement.
-$5 for each approved gas reimbursement fill up.
Payment will be issued weekly via Zelle. Contractor is responsible for any taxes and expenses incurred in performing the services.
Contractor Status & Nature of Work
-This position is for an independent contractor (1099) and not an employee of CE Collective LLC. Contractors:
-Are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and expenses.
-Maintain the right to accept or decline assignments without penalty.
-Set their own schedules within the required turnaround times for vehicle servicing.
-Use their own cleaning supplies unless otherwise agreed upon.
-Are not subject to company-provided benefits, supervision, or employment policies.
