The right candidate for the job will be able to complete (but not limited to) the following tasks:
Some Duties are for starters and others will come over time.
Cleaning Duties Daily
-Morning trash pick-up – Office, Restrooms, Locker Room, Outside Barrels, Shop, Cold Storage
-Scrub restroom toilet, sink, mirror, light switch (garage)
-Scrub shop sink, fill towels, toilet paper, soap dispensers as needed
-Sweep areas in shop and cold storage as needed.
-Remove scrap metal to bins outside.
-Clean benches (orderly)(parts organized)
-Check garage parking lot for trash, dispose of as needed.
Mechanic Assistance Duties
-Pressure Washing Equipment as needed. Not to be done by mechanic whenever possible.
-Grease Lawn and Snow Equipment as needed.
-Pick up parts at office and bring to garage as needed.
-Distribute parts to techs as needed.
-Take vehicles for Emissions testing as needed.
-Pick up parts from Vendors/Dealers as needed.
-Help store old files as pulled for Storage.
-Keep equipment neatly organized and easily accessible to use.
-Pressure wash garage mats/rugs as able.
-Spray wash trash containers weekly.
-Keep tools in proper places. Check that TOTM tools are properly marked, engraved at all times. Some paint marked tools may need touch ups here and there.
-Walk around garage lot checking for trash etc. Pick up and dispose of as needed.
-Brooms, shovels, store properly when not in use.
-Help mechanics as needed with small chores or clean up.
-Other chores as needed. Always check with Shop Manager when you have idle time.
-Lot vehicle walks. Check tires and lights nightly. Note: if hooked to trailer, check also.
-Fluid checks on all vehicles. Oil, Trans, Washer Fluid
-Check fuel filling station. No debris or flammables.
-Wrap DEF tank with tarp. Cannot be in sunlight!
-PM’s. Lube oil and filter. Safety checks, etc.
-Lot and Street Clean Up.
-Learn to use Pelican. For Fridays or as needed by end of the day.
-Future: Brakes, U-Joints, shocks, struts, dampeners, belts, hoses, batteries, alternators, starters, headlights, taillights, sprayers, wipers, minor body adjustments.
