Duties include preparing customer fresh fish orders (cutting, weighing, checking them out), shucking oysters and preparing them to be served, assembling orders of cold deli items and preparing them to be served, communicating with customers in person and over the phone, accepting payments and making change, and using a point of sale (POS) system for transactions, and assisting other restaurant staff as needed.
Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, have great customer service skills, a passion for food service, and enjoy working in a team atmosphere. You need to be able to multi task and work in a fast paced restaurant.
No experience is necessary! Some front of house experience is a plus but we are always willing to train the right candidate.
