The Woman’s Club of Wisconsin service staff deliver an exceptionally distinctive dining experience by providing the highest levels of service in a private social Club. The service staff also assists in many other areas in the Club. It is a dynamic position that is highly adaptable and flexible. This position is both a food service professional and bartender. This position is also set-up of events and breakdown. It is an all-around position that utilizes all skills. Being well-prepared for the day’s events and schedule, proactively looking at the week ahead and being comfortable in a fine dining atmosphere is necessary in this position. Looking for someone available for our events in the evenings, 430-10pm, a couple nights of the week. Also, daytime hours for our private dining room and events would be needed. Flexibility in scheduling is needed. Great hourly wage plus club tips (pooled). 17$/hr plus club tips
Essential job duties include:
Completing pre-setting of the different rooms dependent upon the business needs.
Greets and welcomes members and guests to the Club. Utilize member names and familiarize yourself with member preferences.
Have thorough knowledge of the Clubs menus, both food and beverage menus.
Be knowledgeable regarding beverage/bar practices and cocktail recipes. Be knowledgeable of wine and spirits.
Be knowledgeable in fine dining standards and service. Be attentive to our members and details. Understand table settings and be familiar with banquet service.
Having an optimistic attitude and positive thinker is valued.
Respect our members, our facilities and our fellow team members.
Be consistent and professional at all times.
Ability to work in a multi-task environment where the business levels fluctuate.
Be organized, prepared, able to complete opening and closing duties with minimal supervision.
Private Club experience is a plus but not required.
