JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated District Operations Leader, where you’ll play a crucial role in leading our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and grow our footprint within the greater Milwaukee area. As a key leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the success of multiple store locations, ensuring operational excellence, and playing a pivotal role in the growth and development of our brand. Reporting directly to the Owner, this position demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to drive performance across multiple stores.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Excellence:
● Oversee and manage operations at store locations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
● Collaborate with the Owner and franchise to refine operational procedures.
● Manage store-level profit & loss, budget, and cost of goods within standards.
● Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
● Oversee POS systems setup and maintenance for smooth operations.
● Promote and enforce safety standards, reporting potential hazards.
● Establish and maintain operational controls for day-to-day efficiency.
● Execute training sessions for Team Members on new menu offerings and company needs.
● Manage emergency situations, closing delivery apps when stores are closed.
Leadership and Mentorship:
● Disseminate Oakberry's culture and values throughout the team, embodying core principles.
● Cultivate a shared sense of purpose, commitment, and positive work environment.
● Provide guidance and leadership to Team Members, supporting their professional development.
● Foster collaboration and positivity across store teams.
● Motivate a team through effective leadership and team-building.
● Lead by example in adhering to and enforcing company policies.
Hiring and Staff Management:
● Manage staff, handling new hires, feedback sessions, and termination calls.
● Serve as the main point of contact for all HR-related issues for staff and management.
Store Supervision:
● Supervise the front end for a positive customer experience.
● Manage digital review platforms (Yelp, Google, UberEATS, DoorDash, Grubhub) for positive ratings.
● Organize shift schedules, HR needs, and training programs for Team Members.
● Oversee daily store procedures, including uniform compliance, kosher certification, inventory, etc.
● Promptly address maintenance issues for efficient resolution.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked store environment.
New Store Openings & Events
● Lead planning and execution of new store openings within the greater Milwaukee area.
● Conduct grand openings, oversee new team training, and manage all aspects of store launches.
● Develop comprehensive event business plans aligned with company objectives.
● Recruit top talent for additional locations.
● Coordinate and host local events, collaborations, and partnerships.
● Manage catering operations for a seamless customer experience.
QUALIFICATION:
● Proven leadership overseeing multiple locations.
● Inspiring teams toward common goals.
● Industry knowledge with a current food manager handler card preferred.
● Effective in a high-performance team environment.
● Highly organized and detail-oriented.
● Strong decision-making skills under pressure.
● Adaptable to changing business needs.
● Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Google Meets, etc.).
● Experience in inventory management, purchasing, and scheduling.
● Strong operational and financial acumen.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to travel between store locations.
● Event planning and execution expertise.
● Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, evenings, and special events.
● Valid driver's license.

Employment Type: Hybrid (Combination of in-store visits, office visits and remote work)
Annual Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
