We are seeking a reliable and efficient Dishwasher/Prep-cook to join our team at Dandan Restaurant in the 3rd Ward. The ideal candidate will be able to work quickly and effectively to ensure that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner to keep up with the demands of a busy restaurant. During prep periods, follow set guidelines to finish tasks correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using industrial dishwasher
- Ensure that all items are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards
- Keep kitchen area clean and organized
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks as needed
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Positive Attitude
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
