Job Description SummaryThis leader will develop and drive the upstream monitoring solutions marketing approach for GE HealthCare’s Monitoring Solutions business with the goal of growing our unified ecosystem of value for patients, care teams, and hospital systems. This role is pivotal in our mission to deliver and activate one unified monitoring solution for every patient need, at every point of care.This Global Product Marketing Director will lead the team responsible for delivering insights to the product management team for customer-centric patient monitoring solutions. Additionally, this director will lead the Monitoring Solutions global marketing team to create value propositions, understand key stakeholders and their respective journeys, build evidence and claims roadmaps and develop and execute pricing and new business model strategy. Drive (internal and external) customer research using surveys, product analytics, market research, interviews, or other innovative means of gaining insight into the "voice of the customer."

Define market opportunity, customer segments, key personas, unmet needs and critical value drivers and integrate them into internal development priorities and roadmap.

Use insights to drive Value Propositions creation (true differentiation)

Understand key stakeholder chain, respective journeys, and inflection points to drive content and engagement strategy and activation plan.

Build evidence and claims roadmap to create reasons to believe in the value proposition.

Create pricing and new business model strategy for patient monitoring solutions.

Partner with the content and engagement team on positioning, messaging, creative direction, asset production and activation plan for launch and sustaining solutions in market.

Drive and take accountability for new solution business case results.

Lead Worldwide Product Planning and Long-term Strategy Planning for Monitoring Solutions

Connect and collaborate with PCS portfolio planning leadership and segment product marketing to drive prioritized platform capability roadmap anchored in customer needs

Lead Quarterly Product Council reviews for Monitoring Solutions

Lead Customer Roadmap reviews as needed throughout the calendar year

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business and/or marketing

5 years of monitoring or healthcare technology product management or product marketing experience, with demonstrated success in defining, building, and launching medical solutions in a regulated industry.

Demonstrated experience in diverse roles (eg: technology, marketing, commercial, customer success, product management) with increasing responsibilities across domains and monitoring/healthcare technology.

Desired Characteristics:

Master’s degree in healthcare management or business administration.

10+ years of MedTech with a focus in patient monitoring solutions or related technology

Demonstrated customer engagement experience with various personas in the healthcare delivery domain : C-suite, clinicians, IT leaders, and biomedical engineers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to clinical, technical and nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels.

Experience leading change in a large, matrixed, global organization.

Technical Knowledge and Proficiency in modern monitoring technologies and methodologies:

The ideal candidate will possess strong outside-in, customer-driven, design thinking perspectives, is an expert in outcome driven innovation, possess a growth mindset, and excellent strategic planning and thinking skills. Experience applying Lean methodologies – problem solving, continuous improvement and daily management will be a strong plus.
