Join the North America Accenture Microsoft Business Group as an Azure IAM Security Engineer. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure IAM specialist with expertise in the Microsoft platform. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using the Entra ID and Entra Suite. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IAM principles, strong technical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality security solutions.Key Responsibilities:

IAM Specialist:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Cloud Security Architecture.

As an Azure Security Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing secure cloud environments for our clients, ensuring their systems and data are protected.

Design and Implementation:

Architect and deploy IAM solutions using Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Suite.

Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and secure access management.

Configure and manage identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access recertification.

Project Management:

Lead and participate in IAM project initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement IAM best practices.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Integration and Automation:

Integrate IAM solutions with various applications, services, and systems.

Develop and maintain automated workflows for IAM processes.

Ensure seamless integration with other security technologies and platforms.

Monitoring and Support:

Monitor and maintain the health and performance of IAM systems.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IAM-related issues.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.

Compliance and Security:

Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Implement and enforce security controls to protect sensitive data and resources.

Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.What You’ll Need:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in IAM security, with a focus on the Microsoft platform

Proven experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Suite

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Technical Skills:

Microsoft Entra ID and Governance

Access Management on Entra ID

Active Directory

Microsoft Entra Powered Passwordless

Microsoft Entra ID – Microsoft Copilot for Security Integration

Strong knowledge of IAM concepts, protocols, and best practices

Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Suite

Experience with identity governance, SSO, MFA, and conditional access policies

Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Azure Automation)

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Willingness to travel extensively across North America

Bonus if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate

CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications
