Medical Records Clerk

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves maintaining and processing medical records in a healthcare setting. The emphasis is on the accurate and confidential handling of these records and the use of various medical software technologies.Responsibilities: Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality. Utilize various software technologies such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH for record keeping. Use Microsoft Excel and Charts - Graphs to present data in a comprehensible way. Collaborate with the Clinical Trial Operations team to ensure that all records are up-to-date and comply with all regulatory standards. Uphold standards of confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Perform data entry tasks to update patient records and track patient outcomes. Respond to requests for patient records, ensuring that all release of information (ROI) processes are followed. Assist in audits and compliance checks to ensure that all records are correct and up-to-date. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients to ensure that records are accurate and complete. Use electronic health record systems to track patient information. Requirements Proficiency in using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and MEDITECH Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the creation of charts and graphs Experience in Clinical Trial Operations Familiarity with compliance procedures and guidelines in a medical setting Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information Proficient in data entry tasks, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
