Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.Position Purpose: Under direction, installs, maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, repairs and overhauls electrical components of equipment to keep electrically dependent equipment operational.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Required to follow all applicable safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures in performance of assigned duties. Is required to participate in all required safety training activities. Is expected to report any unsafe conditions encountered in performance of duties.Installs, maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, repairs and overhauls electrical equipment. Also includes installation of instrumentation for Instrument Technicians working with Instrument Technicians, if necessary.Assists supervisor in implementing a preventive maintenance schedule.Maintains repair and maintenance records.Performs other duties of a similar level and nature as assigned.Work Environment:Work is performed in industrial environment involving exposure to dirt, dust, extremes in temperature and humidity, odors, heights, confined entry; may require use of breathing apparatus; generally, works weekdays first shift hours, on-call nights, weekends, holidays.
