The Special Projects Group AVP will lead the Special Projects Group team and will be a key leader in the broader Operations & Special Projects Group team. The role will be responsible for leading the team in solving complex problems and driving & delivering solution execution in partnership with cross-functional leadership across Cornerstone. This group is a critical enabler of Cornerstone’s value creation thesis, working on prioritized strategic efforts in coordination with Executive leadership. This group is backed by the Board, sponsored by the CEO and is specifically designed to be at the center of Cornerstone’s execution of initiatives driving Cornerstone’s growth and optimization.In this role you will

Act as a strategic leader within the Operations & Special Projects Group team, bringing experience of solving complex problems, strategy-setting and advanced analytics skills to solution results for Cornerstone
Execute and drive progress in a fast-paced environment, upholding the values and goals of the organization
Proactively drive results by owning the delivery of the portfolio of special projects, managing risks and issues, and leading to achieve desired goals while keeping cross functional teams accountable to objectives
Work closely with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across cross-functional teams, clearly and effectively communicate insights, recommendations and status of projects
You’ve got what it takes if you have…
Proven experience in a strategy or strategy-analogous field; solving complex problems and demonstrating advanced systems thinking while working in complex business environments with multiple verticals and horizontal technologies
Strong analytical/data/modelling skills; able to synthesize business requirements and questions, source and analyze data, build conclusions, and articulate actionable recommendation
Aspire to be a “Thought Partner” to the ELT and SLT across a wide range of topics
Proficiency to conceptualize organizations as systems view data and an organization from a broad perspective (seeing the information architecture of a business even when it’s not obvious)
Experience in development of business transformation strategy that is aligned with overall organizational strategy, including identifying benefits, prioritization, planning of initiatives, and defining project success
Familiarity in developing cross-functional relationships to gain and understanding of business processes and how they align with the value creation thesis while supporting the implementation of solutions for improvement
Comfortable presenting to and leading meetings with Executives.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and skilled in negotiating
