Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller, you will be working alongside our accounting team to oversee all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is an in-person position, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities: Daily accounting data entry - Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports - Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes - Perform general ledger accounting, including account reconciliations -Provide guidance on technical accounting issues and ensure compliance with GAAP - Prepare regulatory reports and filings as required by government agencies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.
Skills: - Strong proficiency in Quickbooks or similar accounting software - In-depth knowledge of principles and practices - Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and double entry bookkeeping - Exceptional financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data - Familiarity with SOX regulations and experience with regulatory reporting - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Effective communication skills - Ability to work in a team.
