Bruner Realty and Management is a leading Property Management company in Madison, WI. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems and make necessary repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment and machinery.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.
Perform general cleaning and upkeep of the facility.
Available to work On-call. Fairly scheduled.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role is a plus.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
Attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Physical stamina and dexterity for lifting, climbing, and working in various positions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
