The Maintenance position ensures equipment reliability to support the manufacturing process in a safe and respectful manner. Specific tasks may vary for different work assignments.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance of assembly line and fabrication equipment
Use schematics, prints, and PLC to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanic equipment
Routinely perform preventative and predictive maintenance on plant equipment
Properly document work workers for recordkeeping in the CMMS
Use 5-Why Analysis to determine root cause analysis for equipment issues and develop countermeasures to eliminate future issues
Look up and order parts
Utilize all communication channels such as phone, instant chat, email, face-to-face
Utilize equipment such as forklift, man lift, etc. to perform tasks
Train employees on procedures and techniques
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience with maintenance of and troubleshooting of equipment
Must be willing and able to complete required educational training
Must have good computer skills and numerical abilities
Experience with a CMMS
Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanic schematics and prints and utilize the PLC to troubleshoot equipment
Must be aware of Hazard Communication and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Must be proficient in Lockout Tagout (LOTO)
Ability to use various hand and machine tools used in maintenance work
Attendance is an essential job function
Physical Abilities:
o Ability to lift up to 40lbs
o Ability to perform body movements including reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, turning, bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, and fine manipulation
o Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day
o Ability to work with fiberglass, plastic, glue, and insulation
o Must be able to read and write accurately to document incoming/outgoing materials and supplies
