Kalish Masonry is currently seeking a full time Equipment Maintenance Manager for our shop in Springfield Corners, only a few miles outside of Middleton.
The best fit for this position is someone who is efficient, adaptable, and comfortable taking on responsibility. Our Equipment Maintenance Manager is an instrumental part of our team to help keep operations running smoothly!
We are a masonry company serving the Madison area and do residential and commercial brick, block, and stone work.
Necessary Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license, your own reliable transportation (to get to/from work), and a clean driving record for the past 10 years to drive non-CDL vehicles (required)
- CDL a plus
- Knowledge of repairs and maintenance for small engines, small equipment, and pneumatic tools (required)
- Welding/fabrication experience (required)
- Industrial Forklift, skytrak, and bobcat experience (preferred)
- Electrical knowledge (preferred)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, cleanliness, and good work ethic required
- Good organizational & time management skills
- Ability to be on time and work all required days
Job Duties:
- Repair, clean, and maintain shop equipment and tools
- Maintain and clean vehicles
- Load & unload trucks
- Coordinate and communicate with foremen regarding needed materials and any issues with tools or equipment
- Order and pick up materials from vendors, deliver materials and equipment to jobsites
- Maintain updated list of shop inventory
- Complete quarterly inspections of equipment and tools
Compensation: $22-$30+ per hour dependent on experience (paycheck weekly via direct deposit). Health, vision and dental insurance available after 60 days. 50% of health insurance paid by employer.
Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 10AM-6PM.
