Hillcraft of Wisconsin, LLC, a leading, Madison WI based architectural casework manufacturer is currently seeking a full-time employee capable of both CNC Machine Operation and Cabinet Building.

Essential functions will include:
o Set-up and operation of CNC controlled Router(s).
o Production roles such as custom fixture building, cabinet assembly, and general team needs will be assigned whenever the machine team catches up to their workload.
o This position will require solid throughput and display a sense of urgency as needed.
o Accurate machining of architectural building materials including melamine, plastic laminates, particle board, plywood, MDF, veneers, hardwood, and solid surface materials.
o Solid math skills and entry level MS Windows computer skills are required.
o Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Strong communication skills are important, including being able to clearly speak, read and write using the English language.
Production employees are on their feet the entire time they are working. The job requires frequent lifting/moving of items 25+lbs with occasional lifting/moving of items to 75lbs. You must be able to reach, bend, twist and kneel. The job does require the use of two hands, as well as good vision and good balance.
The ability to work with a focus on getting the job done correctly, the first time, and taking ownership of your work is important.

Occasional flexing of work shifts can be pre-approved to make needed appointments etc.
Voluntary overtime is occasionally offered, and may, on rare occasions be required/posted. If so, each team member will be expected to work the posting.
When overtime is not required, (4)-10 hours shifts are the typical shift Monday through Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm. After enough job experience is acquired, a second option of (4)-9’s Monday through Thursday 6:00-3:30 plus Fri 6:00am-10:00 am may also be an available shift option.
