Current Vacancy: Full-time PSO’s for Madison and Portage area. 36 – 40 hours per week with variable schedule based on customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally eligible to work in the United States

Have verifiable documentation of at least one experience level and at least one educational level or any reasonable combination listed below: s/ Experience

A minimum of two (2) years of security (armed) or law enforcement experience; or

A minimum of two (2) years of honorable service as a member of any U.S. Armed Forces component Education

Received a High School Diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma from an accredited learning institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or as identified on a DD 214; or

A minimum of 60 credit hours, in a related field, from an accredited learning institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education: or

Successful completion of a federal/state certified law enforcement education and training or police officer's standard training course that may result in a law enforcement appointment or commission.

Proficiency in English (Written or Spoken)

Pass medical/physical, agility test and urine drug screen showing proof of negative results

Familiarity with securing facilities and/or vehicles at a fixed location

Physically capable of standing a 12-hour post

Firearms training and firearms qualifications, company certifications, meet state certifications

Must pass Federal Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) suitability requirements

Training: Qualified applicant must complete two-week training program that includes firearms qualification, classroom instruction and successful passing of the Federal Protective Service PSO Exam

Pay and Benefits:

Training Rate: $18.00 per hr. Mileage and meal reimbursement with paid lodging if residence is outside commuting distance of training location (>50 Miles)

Probationary Rate:

$23.01 per hr. (Probationary period is 90 cumulative workdays)

5.12 per hr. Health and Welfare 401k contribution

Permanent Officer Rate: (Successfully Complete Probation)

$25.59 per hr. (Base Rate)
