Position: Temporary Full-Time Retail Employee
Dates: October 1-December 31, 2025 (with option to re-evaluate in January)
Hours per week: 30-40
Working location: In-person (Madison)
Fortune Favors is seeking a part-time retail employee for our shop, selling our extraordinary candied pecans and other treats. Candidates should have excellent communication and customer service skills, good basic math skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Applicants must be reliable and self-motivated. We will train on food safety protocols.
Duties will include retail shop work such as cleaning, answering the phone, stocking, packaging, filling mail orders and providing outstanding customer service. There may be some kitchen and other duties as needed, a willingness to do what is needed when it's needed is an absolute must. Our ideal new colleague will be smart and self-driven, the type of person who finishes their assigned task early, and looks for the next thing to do without being asked.

Wednesday 11:45a-6:15p
Thursday 11:45a-6:15p
Friday 11:45a-6:15p
Saturday 9:45a-4:15p
Sunday 9:45a-4:15p
Holiday retail hours:
The ideal candidate will also be available to work the following days:
Black Friday (11/28): 10-6
Christmas Eve (12/24): 10-2
New Year’s Eve (12/31): 10-2
