At Saffi Saana, we work with Michelin Chefs and Zero-Waste Leaders nationwide to provide beautiful, single-origin oils and vinegars with attention to education, a vibrant presentation, and a modern customer experience. Our mission goes far beyond selling products- we are invested in leading the charge on a new future with closed loop systems, investing our efforts in exceptional partner farms and exciting partnerships.

We’re looking for someone organized and detail-oriented to help us grow their dream role in the fulfillment and administrative side of our environmentally-focused, gourmet food business. This is a dynamic and engaged position, and we recognize that operations positions play a key role in the continued growth of our brand voice.

THE ROLE

20-40 hours weekly, flexible scheduling

9am-3pm (Monday-Thursday minimum)

No nights or weekends required

$17.00/hour starting pay (negotiable depending on experience, pay increase after first 3 months)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Work directly with our sales team and founder to execute organized and thoughtful execution on the fulfillment/warehouse side of our sales process

Act as a connecting point between our external follow through and internal systems by developing strong communications with teammates, understanding that our operations are our follow through as a brand!

Package and Process online orders for wholesale and D2C purchases (Shopify, Faire, Amazon)

Maintain a sharp oversight of our internal inventory management

Develop vendor relationships and supply ordering with a focus on like-minded suppliers

Book shipping and transportation for our nationwide network of sustainable stockists

Offer regular input and ownership with regard to the fulfillment and operational side of the Saffi Saana customer experience

Update website content to reflect current information and product availability on an ongoing basis

Assist with packaging operations as needed to ensure swift response time on orders placed through all sales channels

Respond to customer inquiries with a balance of care and professionalism, before coordinating inquiry to the proper team channel

Pitch in with various tasks outside your regular duties – we all wear multiple hats here

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Kindness and curiosity about sustainability and healthy food systems

An organizational team player who leads through empowerment, clear communication and education

Comfort with technology as well as hands-on activities

Familiarity with Shopify and Faire platforms is a plus (but we're happy to train the right person)

Proficiencies in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Passionate about attention to detail and pride in presentation

Acts with integrity and seeks to find their fit in growing a position with a beloved national brand at the intersection of fine foods and environmental wellbeing

Contributes to a workplace culture of mutual respect and collaboration

Maintains a sense of balance between self care and strong work ethic

Meets challenges with compassion and solution-based thinking

Reliable with strong follow-through

Good communication skills (written and verbal)
