Production Artist
Location: Madison, WI.

Description: This creates virtual and production layouts for us, using customer supplied art files.
Duties:
Essential Job Functions:
Manage artwork received from customers
Manage artwork sent to production areas
Create layouts and virtuals using product templates and customer supplied artwork
Color correct artwork as needed for printing
Set up files to send to production for printing
Create production templates for new product
Answer customers' art related questions
Work closely with Key Account Representatives to provide or obtain necessary information
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree in Graphic Design or related experience in print/pre-press production
Superb working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Photoshop CC, Corel Draw
Extensive knowledge and experience working with vector artwork
Able to efficiently work at a fast speed in a fast-paced setting
Strong problem solving skills
Basic knowledge of printing processes
Ability to perform color correction on various artwork files
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to effectively communicate with others (both written and verbal)
Able to work independently but interact with others frequently
Willingness and ability to learn quickly
