The Seasonal Field Technician will work as part of a team to establish and maintain perennial agroecological systems as well as afforestation plantings for conservation. This is an outdoor, field work position. Work will focus on planting trees and installing tree tubes, as well as performing maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, and collecting data. The technician works closely with the rest of the field crew and reports to the Hub Manager.
Hours: Full-time; Variable scheduling with frequent overtime and occasional weekend work, in coordination with the broader team.
Location: This position will be based out of our WI Hub at E5219 Jones Rd. Spring Green, WI 53588 or the IL Hub at 2801 Gemini Ct, Champaign, IL 61822. Seasonal positions at both hubs will require frequent travel to establishment sites, often for several weeks in a row.
