Wisconsin Dells, Adams County
The Dells Club is seeking a hard working, dependable person to join our maintenance staff.
This condominium community is comprised of 60+ acres with multiple buildings. The maintenance staff is responsible for the upkeep and general repairs to the buildings and grounds.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform year-round routine, general maintenance functions of the Dells Club, as assigned.
2. Clean facilities and recreational areas on a daily and/or monthly basis as indicated, including, but not limited to, cleaning, deodorizing, disinfecting and refuse pick-up based on established standards.
3. Operate, maintain, and transport, when needed, a variety of Dells Club motorized equipment used in general maintenance of the Dells Club facilities, grounds and recreational amenities.
4. Perform various landscaping related duties, as assigned throughout the year, to include, without limitation, mowing grass, tree trimming or removal, planting trees, care for Association flowers and shrubs, vegetation control, and raking leaves, and snow removal.
5. Perform construction, repair and maintenance, as assigned, on any Dells Club facilities located within the property.
6. Responsible to know and practice safety policies of the Dells Club and perform all jobs in a safe manner.
7. Punctual in arrival to work and in scheduled breaks and lunch.
8. May be required to work outside normal work hours for special needs or emergency situations.
9. Assist in maintenance of wells, to include assisting in collection of water samples and performing weekly well reports.
10. Assist in maintenance of swimming pool to include cleaning and proper chemical treatment.
11. Reports to Maintenance Supervisor, President of the Association or designee.
Requirements: HS Diploma or equivalent, Valid Drivers License, Proof of Insurance, Reliable Transportation. Pass drug screen and work physical.

The ideal candidate will:
Have knowledge of basic carpentry.
Have knowledge of basic plumbing.
Have knowledge of basic electrical.
Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with Unit Owners, the public and those in a supervisory role.
Demonstrate good judgment in investigating and solving problems.
Recognize areas of the Dells Club that need attention and report them to your supervisor on a daily basis.
Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor or President of the Association, or designee.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical requirements indicated below are examples of the physical aspects that this position classification must perform in carrying out essential job functions.
Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
Firm and simple grasping are required for all aspects of work and there may be some tasks requiring fine manipulation skills, such as small tools for repairs.
Majority of work shift requires standing or walking 80% of the workday.
Many tasks require sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, and/or positioning to accomplish tasks.
Able to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs. is common and up to 100lbs with assistance.
Reaching is required at all levels throughout the work period.
Many tasks require twisting of the torso.
Pushing and pulling actions are required in excess of 60-70% of the time.
Crouching and kneeling are required for approximately 25% of the time, particularly when cleaning bathrooms and under furniture.
Crawling may be required up to 10% of the time.
Climbing of stairs is required and may require up to 50% of the time
