Hallman Asphalt & Sealing has been serving the Dane County area for over 45 years and is a preferred Asphalt company for commercial and residential customers. Our focus is on a variety of aspects of asphalt maintenance that include sealcoating, crack filing, and patching for both residential and commercial properties. Our crews have safety and quality at top of mind while working with customers from start to finish. To grow our team to the next level we are looking for a project manager that shares these same values to join our team and grow their career with our company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Valid Driver's License with approved Motor Vehicle Record. Reliable transportation to and from work each day.
Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to perform manual, strenuous labor including but not limited to cleaning parking lots and driveways, pushing blowers and brooms, crack filling, sealcoating, asphalt patching.
Ability to operate and manage the use of equipment to pave the site.
Maintaining cleanliness and records of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Follow safety standards to maintain safe worksites.
Willing to work overtime and weekends (Saturday or Sunday) when necessary.
Work outdoors while handling equipment and materials. Ability to withstand weather conditions.
The Candidate:
Experience working in asphalt maintenance required.
CDL preferred but not required – Pay incentive available for valid CDL or willing to obtain CDL.
The mechanical ability to make small repairs to equipment or vehicles.
Proficient verbal and written communications skills
