Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for a Surgical Technologist to join our team on a per diem/occasional basis. This position is responsible for aiding the professional nurse or physician in providing patient care to those patients requiring surgical procedures during the operative and immediate post-operative surgery. This position has the ability to demonstrate knowledge and competence specific to age of patient.
Qualifications include: Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologists. Prefer someone with post-secondary coursework in Central Service skills. One year experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred. Current BLS certification is required as well as basic computer competency skills are expected for this position. All Stoughton Hospital employees have e-mail access and many use a PC to send and retrieve work e-mail; reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.

Full-time, Days, Monday-Friday; 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 32 hours/week, 64 hours bi-weekly, On Call every 4th Weekend from 3 p.m. Friday until 6:30 a.m. Monday and every 4th Holiday. Also On Call one night per week from 3 p.m. until 6:30 a.m.
