Stoughton Health is looking for a LPN, CMA or CNA to join our Multi-Specialty Clinic on an Full Time basis working in both the Urology clinic. The Clinic Assistant is responsible for providing supportive patient care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician in accordance with policies and procedures of the practice. The Clinic Assistant is responsible for providing supportive patient care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician in accordance with policies and procedures of the practice. Prepares patients to see the healthcare provider for exams, takes and relays precise messages, follows the healthcare provider's needs for scheduling tests, collecting specimens and directing patients to the appropriate resources. Takes inventory of medical and exam room supplies. Stocks rooms in preparation for the daily work schedule. Duties also include cleaning, sterilizing, and storing instruments in accordance with practice policies.
Qualifications include: High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Vocational Training Program or equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of education, OR an EMT-I training course. Requires previous experience in a healthcare setting. Prefer prior experience in a clinic setting. Prefer licensure as a Certified Medical Assistant or EMT-I, however it's not required. Must have current BLS certification and Non-violent crisis intervention training is required every two years on a rolling calendar. Basic Computer competency skills are also expected for this position.
CNA candidates will be given the opportunity to undergo training to become a CMA.
Full Time, 40 hours per week, Scheduled 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (NO weekends or Holidays)
