The Town of Springdale is seeking an experienced professional for a current deputy/elections clerk vacancy. Successful candidates will have prior Wisconsin elections experience, must enjoy serving the public, and should be familiar with the basic workings of local government. The deputy/elections clerk will administrate Town elections, serve as back-up to the administrator/clerk, and record monthly meeting minutes for the Town Plan Commission. Routine tasks include, but are not limited to: filing, processing mail, constituent relations, research, publishing/posting notices, website maintenance, and WEC/WisVote trainings.
Weekly time commitment is 10-15 hours/week with the expectation that hours will increase during busy times/election years. Position is flexible with the option to work from home. Minimum of 4 in-office hours required each week. Qualified applicants will possess, at a minimum, an associate degree from an accredited institution or a combination of education and experience sufficient to ensure successful job performance.
