My client in Madison is looking to hire a Solutions Architect with a strong background in Cloud and Containerization technologies. They are open to 100% remote but ideally would like if someone could be onsite in Madison at least once a quarter.

I dont have a job description yet but there are notes below about the role!

o Building new cloud based platform

o Patterns and tools are new so focusing on cloud native, microservices for backend pattern, using VUE as front end framework

o For backend-using CQRS pattern. Essentially have 2 separate data stores. One that receives write data, another that represents read data.

o Domain driven design, prioritizes business logic over data structures.

o Acknowledge a lot of these things are new so are able to take on someone that picks up things quickly.

o Cloud native (Microsoft), adding extra layer of extraction. Not planning on multi cloud deployment. Becomes more of an issue with swapping out adaptor to code, instead of rewriting entire stack.

o Want people who have any cloud,

containerization,

kubernetes, and

microservices development with Docker

o Using Azure Devops for CICD
