I’m a 39-year-old disabled woman seeking a part-time caregiver for help around the apartment and company. Shifts are 3 hours long, either MWF or SuWF. Mornings preferred but afternoons possible. Okay to apply even if you’re only free 1–2 shifts/week.
Please text me if you’re interested.
Tasks every shift include:
- Dishes
- Fill water bottles
- Check mail
- Put away futon bed
- Vacuum
- Scoop two litter boxes
- Replace garbage/recycling bags
- Take out trash
Some shifts also include:
- Laundry
- Errands
- Fill med organizer
- Light bathroom cleaning
- Sweep/mop hardwood floors
- One-off tasks (detangling a necklace, applying IcyHot)
- Occasional heavy lifting
About the environment:
Two sweet and funny cats live here—treats and play earn you points. I enjoy TV, games, and arts & crafts—downtime is built into most shifts.
Important fit notes:
This role requires someone who communicates directly and takes their role seriously. If you’re a chronic people-pleaser, this probably isn’t the right match.
Pay and program:
You’ll be paid through Wisconsin’s IRIS program after some basic onboarding paperwork. Rate is between $15–$16/hr.
