As a Human ResourcesSpecialistis responsible for providingprofessional HR supports in the following areas:
· HRIS data entry of current employee and new hire information
· Report creation and distribution
· File creation and maintenance
· Assists with the administration of benefits, payroll/compensation, leave of absence administration, workers compensation and employee communications.
· Responsible for the quality assurance of information related to employee records related to position, benefit eligibility, pay and status.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism and must be detail oriented. The HR Specialist provides professional support, assistance and communication to employees. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as the ability to function as a key contributor to the human resources department.
Starting wage of $17.06/hr.HOURS WORKED:Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8am – 5pm, 30 hours per week.
Qualifications
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong computer skills (Word/Excel).
· High school diploma or Equivalent.
· General human resources experience: One year with no degree, or six months with associate degree.
