Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Madison, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will join our team and play a key role in providing IT support across multiple facilities and remote environments. This role will require a versatile individual with strong problem-solving skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced setting with varied daily tasks.Responsibilities: Handle inbound calls, emails, and ticketing systems for end-user support Troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from entry-level to complex Level 2-3 tickets Participate in IT projects, including device deployments Provide exceptional service to staff at all levels, from plant workers to office personnel Manage and support a user base of 700 across four facilities and some remote users Utilize skills in Office 365, including operating system troubleshooting Demonstrate proficiency in PC builds and deployments Work with LAN/WAN/VPN environments Leverage knowledge of Computer Hardware, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Configuration Management, Service Desk Tickets, Office 365, LAN - Local Area Network, LAN Vs. WAN, SCCMRequirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar Proficiency in handling and troubleshooting Computer Hardware Experience with Active Directory and managing user access Knowledge of Backup Technologies and their application in data protection Experience in Configuration Management to ensure system stability Ability to process Service Desk Tickets, resolving issues in a timely manner Proficiency in Office 365 and its applications Understanding and experience with LAN (Local Area Network) systems Knowledge of the distinction and interaction between LAN and WAN (Wide Area Network) Experience with SCCM for system deployment and update management Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
