We are seeking “Independent Pet Sitters” to join our team and provide our clients with the perfect pet-sitting experience. You will be responsible for the well-being of someone’s dog, cat, or other pets while the client is away and give as much love and compassion as possible to the pets you care for. “Free Belly Rubs!”
Hotel K Pet Sitting will offer you jobs like dog walks, cat sitting visits, and live-in house sitting. We offer professional scheduling, client support, and a “Best in the Industry” app to keep track of your pet-sitting clients. Hotel K Pet Sitting is locally owned so you’re not working for some national pet-sitting app on your phone.
The Independent Pet Sitter is an Independent Contractor. You have the freedom to accept or decline offered jobs and build your schedule. You are paid 80% of what the client pays plus tips, and any added fees agreed to between you and your client. As an Independent Contractor, you are responsible for any “Cost of Doing Business”. Hotel K Pet Sitting requires you to have a reliable vehicle that is insured, a smartphone with voice/text/data/camera, your own pet-sitting supplies, and pet-sitting insurance. You are also responsible for your tax withholdings for State and Federal. Hotel K Pet Sitting pays you a gross with no withholding.
As of February 2024, we are looking for Live In House Sitters. Our live-in house-sitting can easily work with your full-time job and is perfect for remote workers and students.
Requirements:
You must be at least 21 years old.
2-3 Years of pet sitting experience or a background in pet care preferred.
Must have a Smartphone with Data/ Voice/Text with a camera.
Must have a reliable vehicle with liability insured.
Must purchase pet-sitting liability insurance before your first pet-sitting gig.
Have excellent communication skills and time/calendar management skills.
Excellent Customer Service Skills
No less than 3 Professional or Personal references. Able to pass a background check.
