Resident Services, Inc. is looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual who is ready to provide exceptional customer service to our existing residents and serve as a primary point of contact for prospective residents seeking a new home at Yorktown Estates Apartments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere for residents, prospective residents
and fellow staff members
Conduct walking tours of the community and follow up on all leads
Thoroughly process rental applications and complete required paperwork
Maintain resident and property files
Answer incoming phone calls/emails and respond accordingly
Develop a knowledge of the property and local market conditions and trends
Participate in resident social events and activities
Physically inspect the community, pick up litter, report service needs
Conduct move-out inspections
Perform all duties assigned by manager or supervisor
Comply with all Federal, State and Local Fair Housing Laws
Skills and experience:
A positive, team orientated attitude
Organized and detail orientated
Ability to multi-task
Strong communications skills
MS Office, Outlook and Excel
Able to take direction and be a team player
Flexible and tolerant of change
Previous sales experience is a plus
Hours are 9-6 Monday - Friday and noon to 4 PM every other weekend (with time off during the week to compensate for weekend hours). Must have a valid driver's license and dependable vehicle.
Hourly plus leasing bonuses. Benefits include paid sick, holiday and vacation time, health insurance, and 401K after waiting period. Additional voluntary benefits are also available.
