Field Interviewers/Surveyors
Canete Medina is a transportation planning and management consulting firm based in Evanston, Illinois with offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Madison. Our Madison (WI) office location is looking for temporary staff interested in working as Field Interviewers/Surveyors. We are looking to hire 16 people to fill this position.
The work involves riding a Metro Transit bus and distributing and collecting a ridership survey to passengers onboard the bus. The fieldwork will be conducted from April 1-20, 2024. We are looking for reliable workers who arrive on time for their shifts, are able to adapt to unexpected situations such as bus delays/scheduling changes, and are courteous and polite.
Qualifications include:
At least high school graduate with adequate math skills.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time while onboard a moving bus.
Must be able to carry a bag of paper surveys while performing field work.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills are desired.
Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment is expected.
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
Shift schedules will be from Monday to Sunday, between 5 am and 10 pm.
Pay rate: $18-$20 per hour. You will be paid a minimum of 4 hours up to a maximum of 12 hours each workday shift.
