Job Description: As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment, including servers, printers, and mobile devices.
Document and track support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and implement new technologies.
Conduct regular system updates and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
Provide training and support to end-users on various software applications and tools.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or relevant work experience.
Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and software.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
