Manage the in-person and virtual site visit schedule for Dedicated and Contracted Network employees as well as any other staff visiting sites to complete audits

Collaborate closely with Compliance Managers to plan and schedule audit activities

Ensures that in-person and virtual audits are conducted on regular cadence to ensure compliance and contractual requirements.

Monitoring the coordination of travel plans with all departments and providers for new location visits

Monitoring project progress ensures that audits stay on track and deadlines are met

Acts as SME for in-person and virtual audit scheduling

Utilize project management and/or scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or other specialized scheduling software to create and update audit schedules, track milestones, and communicate progress with the compliance Associate Director

Liaise with auditors, Compliance Coordinators, Compliance Managers, and other team members to coordinate schedules, resolve conflicts, and address any scheduling issues

Collaborate with different departments to align audit schedules with their operational needs

Able to adapt and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate unexpected changes or urgent requests

Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems

Solves complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses

Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues

Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks

Promotes positive work environment within the department and across the organization

Perform thorough in-person and virtual audits of local facilities to ensure compliance with OSHA and ADA regulations

Undergraduate Degree OR 3+ years of logistic, environmental and Occupational Health and Safety experience

Current OSHA 30 General Industry training or OSHA 511 General Industry training or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire

3+ years of experience working in logistics, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, a government, legal, healthcare, managed care and/or health insurance environment

Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs

Ability to influence and negotiate through use of verbal, written and interpersonal means with a diverse group of people/disciplines at all levels of an organization

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible and able to adapt to changing situations

Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of assertiveness in performing work responsibilities and in making work related decisions

Ability to travel as needed up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of VA MDE (Medical Disability Examination) contract

Proficiency with project management and/or scheduling software

Experience within disability exam clinic environment

Experience with Environmental Health and Safety auditing

Military experience

Experience working with military Veterans

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
