Job Position: Roof Installer
Job Type: Full Time
Hourly Rate: $17-$28 Based on experience
Avondale roofing is looking to hire roofers to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for assisting with installing new roofing systems. This position is based out of our Janesville, WI location and will service southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
Job Description: Motivated and eager to learn. This position will be responsible for removing and replacing various commercial roof system types under the direction of the foreman.
Key Responsibilities:
Working on low-slope roofs.
Assist the team to meet goals and timelines.
Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
Covering roof structures with TPO, PVC, EPDM.
Job Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and ability to be on company’s insurance.
Available to work Monday through Friday during daylight hours and weekends if needed.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to climb ladders and walk around on roofs.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more while walking and climbing up ladders and stairs.
Good communication skills both verbally and written.
Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
