American Construction Metals (ACM), a strategic business unit of ABC Supply, produces a wide array of metal building materials including trim coil, edge metal, gutter systems, and a variety of other metal accessories. (3 - 12 hour days on Friday - Sunday and 4-5 hours on Monday. 6am to 6pm)
ACM is seeking a Receiving Technician to join its team. If you're looking for a fast-paced position with an established company, we want to hear from you!
Specific duties may include:
Unloading and loading trucks using forklifts and other powered equipment
Making transactions using an Inventory Management System (JDE)
Checking incoming materials against packing slip
Inspecting and labeling incoming material and moving it to proper location
Prioritizing the processing of materials
Cycle Counting
Receiving and determining the disposition of returned goods
Organizing and disposing of damaged goods including proper JDE transactions
Picking, labeling, and returning products to shipping dock as required
Any other tasks deemed necessary during the course of the day
Specific qualifications include:
Excellent organization skills
Superior attention to detail
Experience working with distribution software is a plus
Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
