Reports To: President SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic VP of Data Center Solutions to lead our data center metal fabrication product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center technologies, manufacturing processes, and product management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive innovation, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful development and launch of data center products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and articulate a clear product strategy and vision for data center manufacturing product lines.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive product roadmap decisions.
Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure product specifications and margins are met.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer preferences, demands, and emerging trends.
Analyze market data to make informed decisions about product features, pricing, and positioning.
Requirements Definition: Gather and document detailed product requirements based on customer feedback, technical capabilities, and business objectives.
Create and maintain product specifications and documentation.
Project Management: Define project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment of product messaging, marketing strategies, and customer communication.
Regularly communicate product updates, development status, and key milestones to internal stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to define testing protocols and ensure products meet stringent quality standards.
Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
Coordinate launch activities, including sales training, marketing campaigns, and customer communication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field. MBA is a plus.
Proven experience (10+ years) in product management, preferably in the data center or manufacturing industry.
Deep understanding of data center technologies, infrastructure, and industry trends.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully launching complex products.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools.
