REPORTS TO: Director of Plant Operations SUMMARY: The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing plant activities in order to meet United Alloy corporate objectives. In this role, this person will be accountable for all aspects of plant performance including P&L responsibilities. This person will ensure that objectives are attained and key performance indicators (KPI’s) targets are met. This person will have strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to lead a successful team and culture. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the entire site operations – Operations, Material Planning, Inventory, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Shipping/Receiving, Administration, and Safety. Some functional areas will have dotted line reporting or support from corporate.

Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and directly supervise the plant staff to ensure achievement of objectives at the lowest cost consistent with company KPI’s.

Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements in methods and processes to increase productivity and quality.

Develop plans for the maximum utilization of employees, machines, and materials.

Review production costs and product quality; modify production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of site.

Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and building, and establish plant housekeeping standards.

Develop and recommend plant capital and operating budgets to ensure conformance to corporate budgets.

Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental and various regulatory agencies.

Enforce and ensure compliance with all safety, work rules, quality, and company housekeeping standards.

Champion company goals and communicate goal effectively to organization.

Design, maintain, and manage a personnel structure relative to above listed responsibilities to ensure efficient and effective operation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Finance Required. Master’s Degree Preferred

10+ years of experience in manufacturing.

Detail oriented, with exceptional organizational skills

Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities

Demonstrated ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in timely manner

Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills

Excellent customer service skills building effective cross-function partnerships

Must be able to navigate in a windows-based computer environment

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
