Description:
Designs products for manufacturability using a combination of independent research and collaboration
Generates product models, concept layouts, and manufacturing drawings using CAD software
Prepares accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), develops manufacturing process flow, and enters parts lists and labor requirements into ERP software
Supports materials sourcing, purchasing, and selection required by the design process
Observes all designed projects from conceptual phase through production to final assembly
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology Management
Excellent communications skill for customer interactions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
3D CAD experience is required, preferably Autodesk Inventor
5+ years of experience
