Job Title: Machine OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to join our team in producing plastic packaging products for industries such as dairy, water, and chemicals. Our products include gallon jugs and plastic bottles for various uses, including milk, water, laundry detergent, and cleaner spray bottles. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing environment, with potential for career advancement.Responsibilities
Operate blow molding machines and equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment problems.
Perform change-overs on machines.
Ensure all guards, shields, and safety functions are in place and working properly.
Perform quality checks on plastic bottles every hour.
Make weight adjustments on machines when necessary.
Work with scales and adjust weights as needed.
Use small hand tools provided by the company.
Undergo training for the lockout/tagout process.
Essential Skills
Experience with machine operation, particularly in plastic manufacturing.
Mechanically inclined with no less than 1 year of plastic machine operating experience.
Familiarity with blow molding and injection molding machines.
Proficient in troubleshooting and using hand and power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with extrusion processes.
Any blow molding or injection molding experience.
Chemical operator experience is also considered.

Candidates will train on the 1st shift for 1-2 months before moving to their respective shifts. The work environment includes a GMP environment where no jewelry, fake nails, or loose hair is allowed. The facility can get warm during the summer months. The facility is clean, large, and requires steel-toe shoes. Dress code prohibits shorts and sleeveless shirts. Expect two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch per shift.
