Job Title: Triage - Home Lead Pharmacy TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Triage - Home Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will interact with caregivers, patients, and family members in a positive manner to help build and maintain strong relationships. You will assist customers, solve problems, and ensure patient needs and safety are met. You will also support Pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications and maintain accurate records of medications and equipment dispensed to patients.Responsibilities

Interact with caregivers, patients, and family members to build and maintain strong relationships.

Problem solve and assist customers to meet or exceed patient needs and safety.

Assist Pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.

Interact with customers, physicians, clinic staff, and facility staff in a professional manner.

Gather appropriate information to properly process a patient's prescription.

Maintain accurate records of medication and equipment dispensed to patients.

Ensure accurate entry of patient data into pharmacy software programs.

Enter correct insurance information into the system and ensure claims are properly adjudicated.

Interact with co-workers, pharmacists, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Secure protected health information and required paperwork.

Process customer payment of prescriptions and charges on account.

Maintain sufficient prescription inventory levels when ordering product for the pharmacy.

Receive and store incoming product and supplies, including counting, stocking, and entering computer data.

Perform Triage Pharmacy Technician duties as well as Home Lead duties.

Essential Skills

Pharmacy Technician with 2+ years of experience.

Good customer service skills.

Proficient with electronic pharmacy programs.

Experience supporting customers over the phone.

Ability to problem solve and be solutions-minded.

Pharmacy technician certification.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Work EnvironmentThe work schedule is Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with one late shift per week until 8 p.m. One Saturday per month is required, from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Initially, the role requires on-site presence for 6-10 weeks, followed by a transition into a hybrid schedule.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
