JOB REQUIREMENTS: SCOPE OF ROLE Our Oracle EBS (R12) IT EDI Analyst role
is responsible for setting up EDI Trading partners in Oracle and will
work on understanding the requirements both from the External partner
side and Internal team and work with other cross functional teams to
make sure the requirements are addressed. The candidate should be aware
of standard EDI setups on the Oracle side along with knowledge of how
Order management, Shipping and purchasing module setups that are needed
for EDI transactions to work. A Typical day for the EDI Analyst will
look like Look at High Priority issues with Key Customers. Monitoring
the EDI Fall outs and Interfaces. Working with the representatives on
the Customer/Supplier side to make sure the transactions are flowing or
discuss and resolve any recurring issues. Understanding how the EDI
Translator works and work with the counterparts on the translation team.
Working as a single point of Contact for any EDI issues. Develop the
test plans and execute the same within the team. Key Accountabilities
Provide business user support by helping troubleshoot business
application or business process issues Assist other business analysts
and/or developers in determining innovative solutions to meet business
needs Provide assistance in setting up application configurations and
controls Help business users execute test scripts for system,
integration and/or user acceptance testing Provide assistance to the
business users in defining and documenting requirements for system
improvements Help in developing positive customer relationships which
makes it possible to influence positive change and contribute to
collaboration in defining and implementing IT solutions Work with other
analysts to provide operational consulting to business groups in the use
of their systems to support effective business processes. Professional
Experience/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required 3+ year of EDI
experience required Oracle ERP experience on Order Management, Shipping
and Purchasing modules. Knowledge of an EDI translator like EDI One
Source or Open text is desired but not necessary. Oracle technical
experience with familiarity of EDI Customizations, knowledge of pl/sql
programming. Ability to articulate your thoughts in a clear and concise
manner to both business users and developers through written or oral
correspondence, presentations and/or meetings required Travel: 20% of
time - mostly during project milestones, kaizen or similar events This
