Aerotek is hiring immediately for mechanical assemblers on 1st and 2nd shifts! If you are mechanically inclined and love to work on a team, this is the place for you! This is a high-level assembly position that will allow you to further your skills in a positive and welcoming manufacturing setting. Assemblers work on a wide variety of our electromechanical products.Job Description:
Mechanical and electrical assemblies of various computer systems.
Fabricate holes to run wires and install sub assemblies.
Cooperate with a team of 2-3 other assemblers.
Follow wiring schematics and blueprints to perform assemblies.
Must Have:
1 year of experience with mechanical or electrical assembly
Ability to read blueprints or work orders
Ability to lift 40lb sub-assemblies onto work table, about waist high
Ability to read a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th inch
Shift Schedule:1st shift - 6 AM to 2 PM - Monday though Friday2nd shift - 2 PM to 10 PM - Monday through FridayPay starts off at $20/hr, with a $1.50 shift premium for working on off shifts.
