Description Duties:

Verify Purchase Orders and Acknowledgements:

Scrutinize all aspects of purchase orders and acknowledgments, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Verify pricing accuracy to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.

Edit Purchase Documents:

Review and edit purchase requisitions, purchase orders, acknowledgments, invoices, and investigate discrepancies in quantity and pricing.

Take corrective actions to resolve errors and ensure accurate documentation.

Maintain ERP Data Integrity:

Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis to ensure the integrity of the ERP system.

Resolve issues related to missing, incomplete, or inconsistent information through routine research and data management techniques.

Provide Administrative Support:

Assist the Sourcing Team with additional project-based work.

Update pricing tables, pull reports, and maintain system planning parameters.

Contribute to maintaining organized and up-to-date documentation.

Requirements:

1-3 Years of Purchasing Experience:

Possess a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in purchasing.

Basic knowledge of purchasing processes, including MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and planning parameters like lead time and safety stock.

Communication Skills:

Demonstrate effective communication skills to interact with team members and vendors.

Clearly articulate information related to purchase orders and discrepancies.

Analytical Skills:

Exhibit strong analytical skills to identify and resolve data-related issues efficiently.

Ability to conduct routine research to maintain data accuracy.

Detail-Oriented:

High attention to detail, especially in reviewing and verifying purchase-related documents.

Administrative Skills:

Capable of providing administrative support through tasks such as updating pricing tables and pulling reports.
