Job Duties and Tasks
1) Collect, count, and disburse money, do basic bookkeeping and complete banking transactions.
2) Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders and address complaints.
3) Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages.
4) Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
5) Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers.
6) Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems.
7) Open, sort and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.
8) Inventory and order materials, supplies, and services.
9) Gather information by observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
10) Communicating information to supervisors, co-workers, and customers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
11) Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data.
12) Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
13) Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
14) Other duties that may develop.
