TECHNICIAN will provide user support and customer service on
company-supported computer applications and platforms. Troubleshoot
problems and advise on appropriate action. Some afterhours work possible
and on-call schedule rotation required. IT HELP DESK TECHNICIAN DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: Perform helpdesk duties
in person, electronically and via phone by research and diagnosing
problems to resolve computer related issues. Documents by entering
tickets, documenting work and solutions, and escalating problems in
accordance with company policies and guidance. Perform routine and
emergency maintenance on company computer equipment & infrastructure
(such as PC, Servers, Firewall, Switches, Cabling, Printers and
peripherals) to ensure maximum uptime and highest performance. Perform
installations, troubleshooting and maintenance of company software such
as Office365 Suite, CAD, manufacturing software packages, ERP system,
file management, SQL databases and more. Performs access control, group
policy management, patching and application deployment in a Microsoft
Windows environment subject to governmental security requirements. Build
and maintain system images/workstations configurations. Performs
workstation builds, maintenance and replacements. Recommending upgrade
