Job Title: General LaborerJob DescriptionWe are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as General Laborers. The role involves working in a production environment where high-end rubber strips are manufactured and sold to automotive and non-automotive companies. The rubber is primarily used in car parts that involve oil, such as hoses, seals, and gaskets. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dirty environment.Responsibilities
Weighing out chemicals based on individual batch needs
Mixing chemicals together
Adding chemicals to a container
Packaging rubber strips into cardboard or plastic boxes
Using a forklift to move full containers (training provided for sit-down, gas forklifts)
Ensuring that the machine is running smoothly
Taking measurement checks to ensure the product is at the correct thickness
Essential Skills
1+ year of General Labor experience
1+ year of job tenure within the last couple of jobs
Ability to lift 50-60 lbs
Ability to read and speak English
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months to 1 year of production/manufacturing experience
Experience in packing, production, machine operation, inspection, forklift operation, and manual labor in a warehouse environment
