Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced carpenter to perform a variety of carpentry tasks on assigned projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong in light-commercial and commercial projects, with a focus on safety and proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry.Responsibilities
Provide self-perform services on assigned projects, including selective demolition, progress clean-up, and final cleaning assistance.
Perform rough carpentry tasks such as rough framing and wall layout.
Carry out finish carpentry tasks including crown molding and casework installation.
Install commercial doors and hardware.
Complete drywall patching, finishing, and painting.
Perform miscellaneous flooring and vinyl base patching.
Install specialties and suspended ceiling grid/tile (ACT).
Essential Skills
3 to 5 years of carpentry experience on light-commercial and commercial projects.
Proficient in reading and understanding project plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPFP) systems.
Excellent organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient problem-solving skills.
Self-starting leader of on-site self-perform crews and subcontracted vendors.
Willingness to travel as needed to provide service on project sites across the Upper Midwest.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
