Job Description

The Accounting Intern will be part of the PMC Platform and will be based at the Specialty Components facility in Cudahy, WI. As part of the Specialty Component Operations Finance team, reporting to the facility Finance Manager, this role will help drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting four manufacturing facilities.

• Perform daily inventory standard costing activities for Cudahy plant and assist with standard costing and margin analysis activities
• Perform standard operational reporting the plant, supporting daily management of the business, proactive management of costs and working capital, and to drive sustainable improvement
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives in order to standardize processes and maximize the value of our SAP ERP system across the sector
• Provide ad hoc analyses to support Operations Finance
• Pair with Central Accounting to help maintain an effective controls environment

Qualifications

• Junior/Senior at an accredited university with studies in Accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills
